Get Rich Quick Business Opportunity

Get rich quick opportunities don’t exist! But today’s fast paced world has many looking for the magic pill, the magic bullet, the “I want it now, give me, give me generation.”

We don’t have any patience and when we run into any trouble or stumbling block…we’re on to the next shiny object.  We don’t persevere and often times are in such a hurry, we miss the opportunity that God is leading us to.

It takes patience and a real faith, a real trust that whatever business opportunity God is leading us into…is what we believe is God’s plan for our lives.  Just because we run into a little stumbling block or we don’t see immediate income…doesn’t mean that we’ve missed it.

get rich quick

Get Rich Quick...Really

It’s not a get rich quick scam.

With any real business opportunity, it takes time to learn, time to apply what we’ve learned and time to learn from our mistakes.

I’ve heard and I’m sure you’ve heard… “Knowledge is Power” I don’t know who said it…but they are wrong.  But I’m sure what they meant was this…

“Applied Knowledge…now that’s Power”

We can go to school our whole lives…learn how to be the best doctor in the world, but if we don’t ever get a job as a doctor, if we don’t apply what we’ve learned, then it’s all wasted.

At some time in your life, you have to stop learning…long enough to start applying the skills that you’ve learned!

It doesn’t mean you stop learning…it just means, you have to “Take Action”!

You move from head knowledge to heart knowledge when you have experience.  You have to move from theory to practice.  When you can say… “From my experience, I’ve learned…”

I don’t know who likes to hear… “In theory, from our research, we evolved from monkeys.”

Experience far outweighs theory!

Get rich quick is theory.

Persistence through the obstacles until you’ve learned, applied and now are making money…that’s what we call, “The proof is in the pudding.”  uuumm “Pocketbook”

When you run into problems, it develops character.

Character is best defined, in my opinion, as the person you are when nobody is looking.

My wife said it best when she said… “If you only pick your nose in private and not in public, you’re still a nose picker.”  Who knows when you’re shaking the hand of a nose picker?

In other words…if the cashier gives you back too much change and doesn’t notice…do you give it back or keep it.

You decide if that’s honest or dishonest.

I don’t enjoy doing business with dishonest people and in the end…the scripture says dishonest people will lose it all to honest people.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 (NLT)
26 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him.

Bottom Line, it take persistence, a good character, following God’s plan for your life and you will “Create Success”!

Planning For Your Business Opportunity

Planning a business

Planning a business is like Planning Life

Planning a business is nothing to take lightly. It could and many times, is the difference between failure and “Creating Success”. By default, if you don’t plan for your business or business opportunity, then you are planning to fail!

It’s important to understand how crucial and how serious a matter, when the time has come for planning a business.

Planning A Business is Planning Life

The scripture says,

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.  Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

If you understand that scripture alone…if you are planning a business with the right motive, you can’t fail.  But it’s important to understand, that you can’t take one scripture alone and make it doctrine.   That is why it is important to understand that scripture and what’s God purpose is in that scripture.

When you begin planning a business, you are doing what God did in the beginning.  He planned, created and at the end of the six days…looks back and says, “It is very good.”

But God didn’t stop there.  He continues to plan.  Like the plans He made for you.  In Jeremiah 29:11, He said,

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

When you read that plan for your life…you can’t help but see that His plan for your life is to prosper.  He doesn’t plan harm for your life, but bad things do happen.  But, if we plan in our business, then we can be prepared for when the bad things happen.

If His plan for your life is to prosper…then how do you think that will happen?

Planning A Business According To His Plan

It can only happen if you plan in accordance to His plan.  It’s like giving blueprints of the house you want to build to a contractor.  He takes the blueprints, he begins to build, the plumber, the electrician, all the people involved follow the blueprints and in time…you have a beautiful home.

When you are planning a business, it’s no different.  You plan, you write those plans down, all those involved with helping you in your business can follow that plan and you can “Create Success”.

The same way, it takes having a relationship and trust with the contractor to build your home.  It takes a relationship and trust with God, who has a plan for your life that is way better than anything you can even begin to imagine.

So, start today, begin planning a business and commit those plans to the Lord.  Then, how can you fail?

Learn more about planning a business and how that can lead to “Creating Success”.

Planning a business the right way!

Scared To Make A Profit

Are scared to make a profit? Profit is the most misunderstood word in both the business world and I dare say…among the religious people of today.

Religious junk out there take scriptures like,

1 Timothy 6:6 (NIV)
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Matthew 19:23 (NIV)
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of

…and they say things like, “Be happy with what you have.”  “You’re a pastor and you’re not supposed to have anything.”

Let me tell you right now…THAT’S A LIE, straight from the devil to keep God’s people from prospering and enjoying the abundant life that God want’s you to live!

My Jesus said,

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 (NKJV)

Make a Profit

God wants you to make a profit and enjoy life more abundantly!

Let me tell you, Satan doesn’t want you to make a profit, unless he can convince you to be greedy and horde everything to yourself!

The question you need to ask yourself is, “Why do I want to make a profit and have great wealth?”

make a profit

Like flushing $$$ don't waste it

If your answer is something like…

  1. Have a big house with a big pool
  2. Vacation house in the Caribbean
  3. Have 2 or 3 muscle cars and a great big hummer
  4. Have a big boat
  5. Have, have, and have some more….ah, haha I will rule the world!

Well, maybe your why is not what it should be!

make a profit

Help others with $$$Have time freedom

Now if your answer is something like…

  1. Get debt free
  2. Have time freedom
  3. Financial freedom
  4. Enjoy a big welcoming home
  5. Have new and dependable transportation
  6. Help my family
  7. Be able to employ people,
  8. Help the poor
  9. Help my church & help others.

Now…your heart is in the right place!

Make a profit, it’s a great thing!

You should never be scared to make a profit or be ashamed to have great wealth…if your motives for making a profit are right.

Think about it like this.  As a parent, would you ever desire for your child to barely get by?  If your child had only one set of clothes, would you say, be happy that you have clothes?

I don’t think so, I think you would do anything you can to get your child more than enough clothes.  If your child was dating some guy whom you didn’t approve of and who was too lazy to work, didn’t keep himself clean and respectable…would you say…”Be glad you have a boyfriend” ?

Doesn’t this make sense?  Sure…and God is the same way.  He desires for you to enjoy this life and enjoy it to the fullest.

While it is true that we should be content, we should never be satisfied.  We should desire to always improve ourselves, always enjoy life more and have more…(with the right attitude).

To have more…means you can help more!

Make a profit, what does God say about money.

Abundant living requires you to make a profit both spiritually and naturally.

What is Biblical Business Stewardship

Business Stewardship

Who do you influence?

Would others follow your Business Stewardship example?   How do you, manage the things or people you have influence over? Business Stewardship is just another way of saying Business Management.

In Biblical Business Stewardship, you understand that God owns everything and He is allowing you to take care of or be a steward of His possessions!

Biblical Business Stewardship

Scripture confirms how God has given us authority and the responsibility to exercise Biblical Business Stewardship.

You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority—
the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents.
Psalms 8:6-8 (NLT)

What is Biblical Business Stewardship?

One definition of Biblical Business Stewardship is:

Taking dominion over the natural resources of God in order to serve others,

while simultaneously making a profit for the kingdom of God.

Business Stewardship

Who's following you?

That’s pretty cool, because what this means…God has created everything, then given it to us to take care of.  In the process, we are able to make a profit using God’s resources.  Then,  use that profit to build the kingdom of God!

It’s important to realize that God has given you everything you need to prosper in this world.  He has deposited seeds of greatness on the inside of you.  Everything you need from the skills, talents, gifts, ideas, everything is within you!

You have to learn how to unlock the hidden potential within you…so you can become all that God has planned for you.

Most of the time…the first question a person ask me when I talk about this topic is…”But how do I unlock that hidden potential?”

It all starts in Matthew 6:33!

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

It’s not as difficult as we think.  It all starts by desiring a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

God loves you so much…that He is not going to let you starve or go without!  Not if you are seeking Him first and His righteousness. By seeking Him and developing a relationship with God, He will begin to show you one step at a time…that awesome plan He has for you!

So God wants you to begin where you are…with what you have!  Be a good steward of what you have and He will open up business opportunities, relationships, and align you with the right people that will allow you to be in charge of much more!

Jesus explains and shares a principle of Biblical Business Stewardship in Matthew 25: 14-30. At the end of that story, Jesus explains how you will receive more, when you are a good steward of the little that you have been given.

For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.  And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Matthew 25:29-30 (NIV)

It is in God’s plan for you to exercise good Biblical Business Stewardship and become prosperous, so that, you can enjoy the abundant life and help others to do the same!

Solving Problems Within A Business Opportunity

Solving problems is not the Key, nor is knowing what to do with the problem, the Key. How you respond when problems arise in your business opportunity, your relationships or your life… that is the Key!

As long as you are alive and breathing…you will run into problems!

Unfortunately and fortunately, the scriptures make it clear, we will run into problems.

It is unfortunate that we will have problems…but fortunately the scripture not only warns us that we will have problems, scripture gives us the answers to solving problems.

Solving Problems Within A Business Opportunity

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. Romans 5:3 (NLT)

The scripture makes pretty clear…it’s not if...but when we run into problems.

When you run into problems, do you immediately begin solving problems? Do you lose your cool, run to the phone and whine to everybody about it? Do you try to get advice from people who have no clue or experience with the problem you’re having…and then they say…

solving problems

Why did this happen?

…”Everything happens for a reason.”

Yeah! Well, why did that 2 ton boulder roll off that mountain and fall on my car?

Solving Problems???

People mean well when they say, “Everything happens for a reason” but I can tell you…what they usually mean, is not the case.

God didn’t cause a rock to fall on my car to keep me from an accident that might have happened 5 miles down the street.

That…is not right thinking.

Thankfully I wasn’t in the car when this happened…but have you ever thought…sometimes there is not a reason for why some things happen.

Maybe they just happen.

Solving Problems or bad luck

If not for bad luck...I'd have not luck at all...

Maybe a rabbit sat on this rock, that happened to be on the edge of a mountain and caused it to shift, just enough to cause it to slide and come crashing down the mountain…landing dab, smack on top of my car, which just happened to be parked below.

I could say, “If it weren’t for bad luck…I’d have no luck at all” or I could thank God that I wasn’t in the car at the time.

Sometimes…life is that way. We will have problems in this life, but instead of running to the phone…let’s run to the throne! Don’t start solving problems until you’ve talked to God first.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NIV)

When God presents you with an opportunity, problems are sure to follow. But it’s OK…if you have a relationship with God…He said, “I have overcome the world.”

That means that you too can overcome any problem with God.
